i only got 13 right.�
this past weekend was long.� saturday we went swimming and I got my first sunburn of the year.� heh.� mandy bought a fishing license and we did a lot of going to the lake, but not a lot of fishing this weekend.� i got a new abu garcia reel.� even though it’s open face and more work to fish with, i’m liking it a lot.� i see the benefit of the open face reel with the action of spinner baits you get as you pull the line back in.�
this week has been long so far.� staying steadily busy at work, i get home and just want to sleep.� this thursday is payday and next week will be nice.� monday I work, tuesday i’m off, wednesday and thursday i work, and friday i’m off.� i’m sure it will be a quiet week, so i’ll be able to get caught up on a couple of on going projects i’m working on.
quakecon was announced.� the sign up is tonight.� since they had a hard time finding a place to host this year, they are going to be in a hotel in dallas.� the bad thing is they normally have 3500+ spots, this year they will be limited to 1800 for space.� it shall be interesting to see how fast the seats go.

today was a busy day.� i went into work a little late, but made it up by working through lunch.� colby picked up chinese for lunch.� the orange chicken did not taste very orange, but it was ok.� penny flew down to work the day in houston.� she’ll be back in the office thursday.� i’m off work friday.
i have been working with my razr v3m to get it to sync with window media player.� i have bought a 1gb micro sd card and the verizon music essentials kit.� i cant get it to work.� on multiple computers and with multiple cables and setting configurations.� i’ve now done all of my steps to get things to work, at this point, verizon and/or motorola is going to have to help.� whenever i upgraded my phone from the v3c i lost all of my ring tones and games i had bought and downloaded.� if i have to get a new phone and loose all of my ring tones because of the error messages i’m getting now, i’m going to loose it.� i’ll post more info about this phone and the solution i find on the teck blog.
tomorrow is my friday at work.� this has been a long week.� i’ve spent entirely too much money since i got paid last friday.� there’s still an oil change, inspection sticker, and truck payment to be paid.
i’m making my plans for july.� the tsn naked bbq, the family reunion, and another week on call, are 3 of the 5 weekends in july.� i want to go to arkansas and relax for a weekend.� hopefully i can work that in.
tonight is my last night to be on call this turn.� i’ll happily change the server email reports over to someone else tomorrow.� in the morning i’m suppose to be working with one of the unix admins to start helping him with data reconstruction, backup, and disaster recovery plans.� i will probably be taking some unix and sun training in the coming weeks.� if anyone can suggest a unix emulator for me to hack on, i’d appreciate it.
as for tonight, it’s bed time.� ya’ll take care.

i left work at about 11:30 this morning.� i have not been feeling well all day.� jack and i did manage to go out for a walk.� it was nice to just relax today.� tomorrow is back to work. :(
i cannot get my razr v3m to sync with my pc.� the phone is the problem.� all computers used to sync to the phone, now none of them can. motorola did not answer my support email in 24 hours like their web page promised.� i found a website that said you should be able to drop wma files onto the memory card manually and the phone will recognise and play them.� only the 30mb built in memory can handle mp3s.� i’ll try it tomorrow at work.
