this has been a fun weekend so far. i posted some pictures of my first flight on flickr. the pilot actually let me do most of the flying, including taking off and landing! :-D it was a blast!
i have some technology predictions for 2007, but i have not had a chance to get them all compiled and posted. those will come tomorrow while i’m off work. :-)

so it rained a lot today. as the tornado sirens went off outside, i snapped a picture of my sisters flooded backyard. the rain got up over the door threshold and into the sun room. nothing was damaged, but it was a lot of rain!

by the way, some of you may have noticed the sidebar over there getting cluttered a bit. i added my del.icio.us feed to the sidebar. it will mostly be technology links, but every once in a while you might see neat games or blog tools. for along time i was not a fan of del.icio.us becuase it just cluttered up my already messy bookmarks. but recently i found a need to pull up bookmarks i would normally store at home or work or wherever i am. now i can throw them there with the cool firefox extension, and keep going about my day.
i’m a big nerd.
i also have digg setup to auto blog my link posts there. thus the reason for the recent digg article posts. if your a member of digg, go digg my stories and leave me some comments! if your not, go sign up and join the biggest social news site on the interweb!
if any of you remember winkydo.net/teck, i sadly lost all of my posts there whenever i changed webhosts and did not export my database correctly. bleh. :(
also, on the right side is my flickr badge. the images you will see there should be the most recent uploads i’ve made. i am also now using a wordpress extension that allows me to post images in my blog posts right from flickr. :) it’s worth checking out if your into that sort of thing. the only other big difference about my site is that i had to change my permalinks to accommodate this extension. so any tracebacks out there will be broken now. :(
i may teck up this blog from time to time, but it will mostly remain my life story.

christmas was great. this was probobly one of the best christmas weekends i’ve had in a few years.
friday i got off work early and headed home. mandy and i had to run out to get a few gift wrapping stuff. whenever i got home, i remembered i left a letter for neo sitting on my desk at work. so her and i ventured up to richardson to eat and get it.
saturday mandy and i did not do much. i slept most of the day. we ended up dropping by neo’s to give him his christmas gift and the letter i had for him. after that, we ended up going by the movie trading company then going back to her house with panera bread. we watched ‘collateral’. it actually turned out to be a really good movie.
sunday, being christmas eve, mandy and i went to her parents house and just kinda hung out. we opened gifts up and i got a itunes gift card from her brother, a bolt organizer from her grandmother, and her parents bought me a trip up on an airplane like mandy did for her birthday. i’m so excited about this airplane ride. i’ve never been on a plane before! i think i fly this saturday at 2pm. weeeee!
mandy and i ended up exchanging gifts christmas eve night, because neither of us could wait till morning. she got me ‘the simpsons season 5′ on dvd, a volcano thing for my desk, these cool penguin speakers, a nice blue fossil watch, some candies, a gift card to the gun range, ‘kt tunstall’s acoustic extravaganza’ and a remote control ufo. heh. i love the ufo. i will have to post some pictures of all of the stuffs.
from my family i got a giftcard to starbucks and target, some candies, and a giftcard to anywhere i want. :)
i think i cleaned up. :)
this is a short week. tomorrow is my friday off. there is alot to do at work, but i think we’ll manage. jeans all week!
