satan told me not to go
twas a bum weekend. friday night mandy and i met her family to see pirate of the caribbean 2. it was a good movie, but i my lack of attention span made the 2.5 hour movie hard to sit though, even with the adventure and action.
saturday, mandy was at her parents most of the day. i got a new mp3 player installed in my truck and messed around most of the day at susans. then i went to have dinner with mandy’s family. we left there with the intention of maybe going fishing. we got to mandy’s and i decided i wanted to go for a ride. we burned off half a tank of gas and went through 3 hours of mp3s. it was a good night.
today, i go up with the intention of going to church with susan and mandy. by the time i got to susans, we where already going to be 20 minutes late. while debating on weather to go, we burned another 10 minutes and decided we where not going. instead, i helped susan setup her new computer and move her files over from her old one. mandy played roller coaster tycoon 2 for most of the afternoon, and is now addicted. heh. i sat here at my computer tonight, after dinner, and now have 9 cd’s of mp3s for my truck. the ride to and from work wont be so commercial filled now. :)
tomorrow begins the new work week. it is a short week, but friday, i have a doctor appointment to follow up for my blood pressure check. i guess i’m going to schedule my physical. but i’m actually thinking i’m going to put it off for a month while my weekends clear up. i now see why the every other friday off work schedule is such a cool thing to have.
