happy last working day of the year to me… 5 days off starting at 4:30… 5 days to paint, lay floor, relax, hang out with great friends, and forget about this little office building in richardson, texas.

work is quiet. i had to work till 1:30 christmas eve, then today and tomorow, and i’ll have my friday off work tomorow. i took monday off work so i have a full 5 day vacation. jenny and josh came over last weekend and josh really helped get the paint primer knocked out. he also helped me knock out the quick set left on the floor after pulling up the tile in the front entry way.
this weekend, mandy and i hope to finish out the paint and the floor should be in sometime, so we may start laying it. monday evening we’re having bunches of friends over for food and games to bring in the new year. :) if you want to come, let me know, i’ll give you the address!
bleh, i’m ready to go home. not feeling very well today. catching up on podcasts, playing around with flock.

the year is winding down. mandy and i closed on the house on friday. we’ve only spent about 8 hours in it so far because we’ve had all kinds of stuff to do. we did go buy the paint saturday with her mom’s help. i’m excited about the media room being painted in dallas stars colors.
bleh, the week is winding down, even though it’s only tuesday morning. i’m off work thursday for the fridge and cable deliveries. maybe i’ll get down some primer in the green kitchen.
