le tired

it has been a long month. i’m glad we’re nearing an end, but i don’t really believe it is the end, at least not at work. the wireless is up by the way, but the drama insues as expected.

the dallas stars won the 3rd game in this playoff round. one more win and we’ll move on to the 3rd round. it would be awesome to see them sweep this round, especially after knocking out the current cup holders (the ducks) in the first round earlier this month.

i should update my blog more often, i have a lot on my mind. my motivation is low. i’ll get to working on it. microsoft live writer is an amazing application that i find it hard to believe it is offered free from microsoft. i should set it up and use it full time for all of the blogs.

dropped packets

been really busy lately.  took a trip to houston and i’ve done a ton of stuff at work since the wedding.  i’m diggin married life, i’ll get a real life update up here soon.  for now, here’s a picture to prove i’m still alive.

i’ve been working on the wireless link between our office buildings this week.  they have decided to replace our wireless antennas tomorow.  we are in one floor of the tall building and connect fiber gigabit to fiber gigabit across this wireless link.  last night i setup a laptop on the roof with a bucket to cover it through the horrible weather we had.  everything worked great and helped me collect enough log files to cut down the time needed for troubleshooting the link.  the hot and humid weather has not been the funnest thing to work in this week, but i feel like i’ve lost 10 pounds in sweat.
